Install Instructions

Automatic Install of EasyBookMarkerPro
(as easy as 1-2-3)

1. Unzip/Untar/Unrar the downloaded EasyBookMarker source file under your WEB server (Apache/ISS) directory tree, preserving directory structure found in our source file. This will create the following directory structure under your desired extract path:

  /your_path
  |___EasyBookMarkerPro
      |___install
      |___theme0
      |___theme1
      |___theme2

2. Point your favorite internet web browser to
http://your_domain.com/your_path/EasyBookMarkerPro/install/
and follow the install instructions.

3. Point your browser to
http://your_domain.com/your_path/EasyBookMarker/
and start using EasyBookMarkerPro.

You may need to chmod 777 the file EasyBookMarkerPro/serverdata.php
if instalation is not possible or go to the manual installation.

Remember!!!

Your username and password are both set to demo. Please change them. You should delete the install folder with all files in it

Manual Install of EasyBookMarkerPro

1. Unzip/Untar/Unrar the downloaded EasyBookMarker source file under your WEB server (Apache/ISS) directory tree, preserving directory structure found in our source file. This will create the following directory structure under your desired extract path:

  |___EasyBookMarkerPro
      |___install
      |___theme0
      |___theme1
      |___theme2

2. Open the file EasyBookMarkerPro/serverdata.php and supply the required information. When done, save the file. and follow the install instructions.

3. Create MySQL tables needed by EasyBookMarkerPro. Table structure is in EasyBookMarkerPro/install/mysql.sql file. You may use phpMyAdmin for this, or the command line mysqladmin - a part of your MySQL distribution.

4. Point your browser to
http://your_domain.com/your_path/EasyBookMarker/
and start using EasyBookMarkerPro.

Server data:

• "mysql_host" - your Mysql server (usually "myioneta.ipowermysql.com")
• "mysql_user" - your Mysql server user name
• "mysql_pass" - your Mysql server password
• "mysql_base" - your Mysql data base name
• "mysql_pref" - optional prefix for database tables
• "SearchResultsPerPage" - number (e.g., 15)
• "canRegister" - TRUE (or False)
• "mustApprove" - TRUE (or False)
